Who in the league do you NOT want Darcy to acquire? Sometimes you have this tone in your blogs that the fans are not being supportive / fair to the team or players... then you post that you want every player in the league as the slightest hint that the guy may be available. How about some objectivity once in a while and a reason or two why someone isn't worth the price or ideal for this team? Darcy has that same problem, just grabbing players via trade (albeit even good deals at times) and yet no eventual idea on how to shape an actual "team". A team is not a collection of random players... it is assembling the parts together like a puzzle and make it work on all cylinders. Not a simple collection of toys, valuable or not.

I think the habs could grab him. They're in the east, have 3 second round picks and young prospects like Leblanc, Bozon, pateryn who could interest minnesota. They also have 2 third round picks and better prospects like Collberg, Hudon, Thrower.

Trying to figure out the most likely outcome for tomorrow. Def, think Vanek stays (through the weekend) and Miller is dumped for a lot less than what we expected. We use our 2 picks ( 8 + 16) and try to trade back into the first and grab a goalie. Then Ted Black will be in the radio next week talking about how sexy these picks were and how we have at least 3 picks in the top 60 through 2018

Edit: then talk about further improving the team via trade agency because the trade market has stalled

Here's an idea Garth, we can get Clutterbuck, Bolland, Parros, Tootoo, Cooke, and every gritty player in the league. Get rid of all prospects with scoring potential. That way whenever a team scores a goal on us we can just beat the crap out of the team. We have our spark plugs in Kaleta, Ott, and Scott. I shake my head at all of your blogs. You overvalue every player on this team. You're like Darcy Regier's slow little brother.

a 2nd and a prospect? Oilers need to get this done. I'd rather have Hall and Clutterbuck be friends than enemies.
